The Colorado Avalanche sent the rights to forward T.J. Hensick to the St. Louis Blues on Thursday in exchange for the rights to forward Julian Talbot.

Hensick, 24, played seven games for the Avs in 2009-10, scoring once and adding a pair of assists. He spent most of the season with Lake Erie of the AHL, scoring 20 goals and 70 points in 50 games.
