Blues agree to terms with draft pick Carrier @NHL

The St. Louis Blues announced Monday they have agreed to terms on a three-year contract with forward William Carrier, a second-round pick in the 2013 NHL Draft.

Carrier, chosen with the 57th pick last month, played 34 games for Cape Breton of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League last season, scoring 16 goals and 26 assists.

Carrier, 18, helped Canada win the bronze medal at the 2012 Under-18 World Championship. In three seasons and 161 games with Cape Breton, the 6-foot-1, 196-pound left wing has 51 goals and 73 assists.
