The St. Louis Blues overcame a 2-0 deficit in the third period and Jaden Schwartz scored the go-ahead goal with 15 seconds remaining in regulation to give the Blues a dramatic win in Game 5 to take a 3-2 lead in their best-of-seven series against the Winnipeg Jets.

Schwartz's goal was the second-latest game-winning goal in regulation in Blues playoff history, behind only Gino Cavallini, who scored with nine seconds remaining in Game 3 against Chicago of the 1990 Division Finals. Schwartz has scored 11 playoff goals in his career, five of which are game-winners. Only Brett Hull (15) and Larry Keenan (6) have more game-winning goals in Blues playoff history.
The Blues overcame a multi-goal deficit in the third period to win a playoff game for the seventh time in franchise history and just the fourth time in regulation.
The road team has won every game of the series through five games. It's the first time in 15 years that has happened and just the fourth time in NHL history overall. No best-of-seven series in the Stanley Cup Playoffs has ever had the visiting team win each of the first six games.
In addition, each game in the series has featured the winning team overcoming a deficit to win. Only 10 other playoff series have featured comeback wins in each of the first five or more games.
