COLUMBUS, OHIO - The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed defenseman Cody Goloubef to a two-year contract extension through the 2016-17 National Hockey League season, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today. As is club policy, terms were not disclosed.
Goloubef, 25, registered nine assists with 19 penalty minutes and a +12 plus/minus rating, while averaging 15:33 of ice time in 36 games with the Blue Jackets in 2014-15. He was tied for second on the club in plus/minus, earning an even or plus ranking in 29-of-36 games played, and finished third among Columbus rookies in assists, points and penalty minutes.
