Blue Jacket

Hey, it's the Columbus Blue Jackets. Where's the inaccuracy with this hooded, zippered idea?

The work of a visionary came to light on Friday during office cleanup day at Blue Jackets headquarters. Found among the items for potential disposal was a true work of art from a kid named Connor in British Columbia.
His masterpiece came with a simple message:
"Hey Columbus, My name is Connor I was giving you this letter because I picked a new logo for you. When you have made your decision if you want it or not just send a letter back to me."
Well they did want it, and the Blue Jackets social media team decided to make it their Twitter avatar for the day. They've also reached out to Connor's family to send him some Blue Jackets gear and they hope to get him to their game at the Vancouver Canucks on March 24.

Truthfully, the Blue Jackets team name represents the blue coats worn by Union soldiers during the Civil War. Those coats were produced mainly in Columbus, and Ohio had more soldiers in the Union Army (nearly 320,000) than any other state.
But, a stylish, modern hooded blue jacket with red lining and functional zipper is a good logo too. If the Blue Jackets are ever in the market for a rebrand, they know who to call.
