COLUMBUS, OHIO - The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated defenseman Ryan Murray off Injured Reserve and assigned right wing Josh Anderson to the American Hockey League's Springfield Falcons, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today. Murray has missed the last 36 games due to a knee injury.
Murray, 21, who also missed the first seven games of the season due to off-season knee surgery, has recorded two penalty minutes in four games this season. He collected 4-17-21 with four penalty minutes and a +4 plus/minus rating in 66 games in his first NHL season in 2013-14.
