Declan, days from first birthday, can't stop Blue Jackets forward from scoring

It may be the offseason, but Cam Atkinson is working hard on his shootout moves.

The Columbus Blue Jackets forward showed them off against son Declan, who turns 1 on Wednesday, in a video posted to Instagram.

It was a smaller area than Atkinson was used to; the clash took place on a padded mat featuring letters and numbers on it.
Declan's only goalie equipment was a soft Blue Jackets ministick and a pacifier.
Atkinson used multiple dekes and scored on a pretty backhand, going top shelf.
As for Declan, well, if he isn't ready to play goal against his dad now, then when?

Hang in there, kid. You'll stop your old man next time.
