Blue Jackets activate Rostislav Klesla off IR @NHLdotcom

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated defenseman Rostislav Klesla off injured reserve, Blue Jackets General Manager Scott Howson announced December 23.

Klesla, 26, has tallied one goal and two assists for three points with eight penalty minutes and an even plus/minus rating in 11 games with the Blue Jackets this season. The club's first pick, fourth overall, in the 2000 Entry Draft, has registered 36-73-109 and 426 penalty minutes in 421 career games with Columbus.

The Blue Jackets return to action on tonight at Nationwide Arena when they host the Los Angeles Kings at 7 p.m. Live coverage on FOX Sports Ohio will begin with the Blue Jackets Live pre-game show starting at 6:30 p.m. The game also will be broadcast live on the Blue Jackets Radio Network and flagship stations WBNS-AM, Sports Radio 1460 The Fan and WWCD-FM, CD101 beginning at 6:30 p.m.
