Bloodoff scores go-ahead goal in Kelowna's 2-1 win over Portland @NHLdotcom

PORTLAND, Ore. - Lucas Bloodoff scored the eventual game-winner on a power play at 0:41 of the second period to pace the Kelowna Rockets to a 2-1 victory over the Portland Winter Hawks in Western Hockey League play Sunday night.

Kyle St. Denis got the Rockets (35-23-2-6) on the scoreboard at 9:32 of the first period.

Tristan King replied for Portland (9-52-2-1) with a power-play goal at 18:11 of the third period to ruin the shutout for Kelowna.

Rockets goalie Kristofer Westblom (24-12) made 16 saves for the win, while Kurtis Mucha stopped 35 shots to fall to 7-34 on the season.
