Avs crowd

The Colorado Avalanche got to the Stanley Cup Final by doing all the small the things.

Not just throwing pucks on net and winning battles in the corners, but by fans doing their rendition of Blink-182's 1999 hit song "All the Small Things."
It has become the Avalanche's unofficial anthem and it plays at Ball Arena during every third period.

The Avalanche started playing the song at home games in 2019.
In a video posted to their TikTok
, they explain that team DJ Craig Turney was looking for ways to engage with the fans more during games. He played the song one home game and got an "incredible response" of the fans singing along.
Turney and the Avalanche decided that playing the song midway through the third period would be the best time and it has been played at every home game since.
Blink-182's Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge both responded to fans singing their song at Ball Arena during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, tweeting out approval.

This season, the Avalanche had fun posting references to the song on their social media accounts.
Before Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final, the Avalanche edited miniature versions of Gabriel Landeskog, Nathan MacKinnon, Logan O'Connor and Cale Makar on the ice captioning the post "All the Small Things…"

The Stanley Cup tweeted out the lyrics "Always, I know you'll be at my show," and tagged the Avalanche after they won the Western Conference Final on June 6th.

Now, Avalanche fans are watching, waiting to see if their team will be carrying the Stanley Cup home.
