Blazers strike for two goals in first 89 seconds, defeat Bruins 6-3

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - The Kamloops Blazers scored twice in the game's first 89 seconds and skated to a 6-3 Western Hockey League victory over the Chilliwack Bruins Tuesday night.

Shayne Wiebe, with two, Jake Trask, Brendan Ranford, Giffen Nyren and Kenton Dulle scored for Kamloops (9-9-0-2).

David Robinson, Alexander Wiklund and Brandon Manning replied for Chilliwack (5-11-1-1), which has lost nine in a row.

Kamloops goaltender Justin Leclerc stopped 18 shots, while Chilliwack's Lucas Gore, who is from Kamloops, turned aside 35.
