Blazers spread offence around in 8-6 victory over Winter Hawks @NHLdotcom

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - The Kamloops Blazers spread the offence around Wednesday, getting goals from eight different players in an 8-6 Western Hockey League victory over the Portland Winter Hawks.

Giffen Nyren, Jimmy Bubnick, Tyler Shattock, Shayne Wiebe, Brendan Ranford, Alex Rodgers, Zak Stebner and Brady Calla scored for Kamloops (18-21-1-4).

Luke Walker, with two, Travis Ehrhardt, Colin Reddin, Stefan Schneider and Sawyer Mick replied for Portland (12-26-1-0), which had won its previous three games.

Kamloops goaltender Jon Groenheyde stopped 18 shots, while Portland's Kurtis Mucha turned aside 28.
