Blazers score three in third period and beat Thunderbirds 5-2 @NHL

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - The Kamloops Blazers scored three third-period goals Wednesday night and went on to beat the Seattle Thunderbirds 5-2 in Western Hockey League action.

Jake Trask, Scott Wasden, Kenton Dulle, Brendan Ranford and Jimmy Bubnick scored for Kamloops (5-8-0-2), which had lost five straight.

Jonathan Parker and David Richard replied for Seattle (2-9-0-1), which lost its fourth game in a row.

Kamloops goaltender Justin Leclerc stopped 25 shots, while Seattle's Calvin Pickard turned aside 31.
