Blandisi scores winning goal as the Attack beat the Rangers 3-1 @NHL

OWEN SOUND, Ont. - Joseph Blandisi broke a deadlock early in the third period to lift the Owen Sound Attack to a 3-1 home win over the Kitchener Rangers on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Mike Halmo and Cameron Brace also scored for Owen Sound (18-14-4), who was playing its third game in as many nights.

Andrew Crescenzi replied for Kitchener (22-10-1).

Jordan Binnington turned aside 24 shots for the win, while Franky Palazzese made 44 saves, including 22 in the first period, in a losing cause.

Both teams were unable to capitalize on the power play as Owen Sound and Kitchener each went 0-for-6.
