Blake Coleman agreed to terms with the New Jersey Devils on a three-year contract with an average annual value of $1.8 million on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old forward had NHL career highs in goals (13), assists (12) and points (25) in 79 games with the Devils last season, including three shorthanded goals and two game-winning goals. He scored two goals in five Stanley Cup Playoff games.
New Jersey selected Coleman, who had a salary arbitration hearing scheduled for July 22, in the third round (No. 75) of the 2011 NHL Draft. He has 27 points (14 goals, 13 assists) in 102 NHL games.
The Devils also agreed to terms on a one-year contract worth $1.725 million with forward Stefan Noesen. The 25-year-old had 27 points (13 goals, 14 assists) in 72 games last season.
Noesen, who had a salary arbitration hearing scheduled for Aug. 1, was claimed on waivers from the Anaheim Ducks on Jan. 25, 2017. He has 35 points (19 goals, 16 assists) in 104 NHL games with the Ducks and Devils.
