Blackhawks' Rozsival, Oduya battling injuries

Chicago Blackhawks defensemen Michal Rozsival and Johnny Oduya didn't skate Friday because of injuries.

Rozsival may miss a week with an upper-body injury. Oduya, who has a lower-body injury, could skate Sunday.

The Blackhawks also confirmed that defenseman Duncan Keith and forwards Jonathan Toews, Marian Hossa and Brad Richards won't be in the lineup when they face the New York Rangers in their preseason finale Friday at Madison Square Garden (7 p.m. ET, NHLN-US).

Forward Daniel Carcillo, added to the training camp roster Friday, will face his former team. Coach Joel Quenneville said forward Brandon Mashinter, also a former Rangers player, suffered an injury in the previous game and has been kept off the ice for the past couple days.

"When you're on this team you've got a chance to win every year," said Carcillo, who previously played for the Blackhawks from 2011-13. "Couldn't be happier."
