It was time for one more spin around the ice for Denis Savard.
The pioneer of the "Spin-O-Rama" donned his No. 18 jersey and was welcomed back to the ice in Chicago as the Blackhawks invited him back for "One More Shift" before their game against the Canadiens on Sunday night.
Savard, fourth all-time in points in franchise history, came out and took his place on the ice between Blackhawks forward Ryan Hartman and center Jonathan Toews.
The night was complete with a tribute video where Patrick Kane and others talked about his impact on the game.
Savard, whose No. 18 hangs in the United Center rafters was inducted to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2000.
