Blackhawks, Canucks lead remaining NHL All-Stars @NHL

NEW YORK (AP) - The Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks and West rival Vancouver have each had three players added to the NHL All-Star game roster.

The NHL announced Tuesday the remaining 36 players and 12 rookies chosen by the league's hockey operations department to take part in this month's All-Star festivities that include the traditional game and skills competitions.

Chicago already had significant representation, as forward Jonathan Toews and defenseman Duncan Keith were among six players voted in by fans, along with Pittsburgh's Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Kris Letang and Marc-Andre Fleury.

The Canucks, who own the NHL's best record, are sending Henrik Sedin, Daniel Sedin and Ryan Kesler - their three leading scorers - to Raleigh for the midseason classic.
