The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have assigned forward Alexandre Fortin to the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs.
With this move, the Blackhawks training camp roster currently stands at 37: 20 forwards, 13 defensemen and four goaltenders.
The Blackhawks return to preseason action Monday when they travel to Boston to face the Bruins at 6:30 p.m. The game can be seen on WGN-TV and heard on WGN Radio.
