Blackhawks acquire draft pick from Washington

The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have acquired a conditional third-round pick in the 2018 National Hockey League Draft from the Washington Capitals in exchange for defenseman Michal Kempny. Chicago now has seven picks in the 2018 draft.
Kempny had seven points (1G, 6A) in 31 games this year and recorded 15 points (3G, 12A) in 81 career games with Chicago.
