PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Brandon Biggers and Zack Torquato each had four-point games as the Erie Otters trampled the Plymouth Whalers 7-4 Saturday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

Biggers recorded three goals and an assist for the Otters (30-26-2-1), while Torquato, Erie's captain and an unsigned 2007 draft pick of the Detroit Red Wings, tallied a goal and three helpers in a game that was delayed several minutes due to the Whalers honouring their billet families in a pre-game ceremony.

Sean Jones, Mike Cazzola and Ryan O'Reilly scored the other Erie goals and Shane Owen picked up the win in net with a 45-save performance.

For Plymouth (30-23-5-0), Tyler Seguin posted a goal and an assist and AJ Jenks, RJ Mahalak and Michal Jordan (with his fourth goal in two games) also scored. Matt Caria chipped in two assists.

Matt Hackett and Scott Wedgewood combined to stop 45 shots for the Whalers, who managed to go 3-for-4 on the power play.
