CHILLIWACK, B.C. - Jamie Benn scored twice and added a pair of assists as the Kelowna Rockets cruised to a 5-0 win over the Chilliwack Bruins on Wednesday night in the Western Hockey League.
Colin Long added a goal and two assists to pace the Rockets (8-6-0-0). Benn and Long each have 10 goals on the season, one back of the league lead shared by Calgary's Brandon Kozun and Jimmy Bubnick of the Kamloops Blazers.
Kyle St. Denis had the other Kelowna goal, while Tyson Barrie added two assists.
Adam Brown needed just 15 saves to earn his first career WHL shutout.
Lucas Gore turned aside 34 shots in defeat for the Bruins (5-6-1-1), who have lost four straight.
