Benn scores OT winner as Kelowna knots series with Americans at 2-2 @NHLdotcom

KELOWNA, B.C. - Jamie Benn scored the game-winning goal for Kelowna 12 minutes into overtime as the Rockets defeated the Tri-City Americans 4-3 in Western Hockey League playoff action on Wednesday night.

The second-round series is now tied 2-2, with Game 5 set for Friday night in Kennewick, Wash. Mikael Backlund, Cody Almond and Tyler Myers scored for Kelowna.

Mitch Fadden, Jordan Messier and Justin Feser replied for Tri-City, which held leads of 2-1 and 3-2.

Chet Pickard made 34 saves for the Americans, while Mark Guggenberger turned aside 26 shots for the Rockets.
