BOSTON - Behind the B, a production of the Boston Bruins and Mad Fish Productions, was awarded the Best Sports Series Emmy tonight (Saturday, June 24) by the Boston/New England chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences at the 40th Boston/New England Emmy Awards Ceremony. The nominated episode of Bruins Academy was Season Four, Episode One, which featured the Bruins visit to China.

Since Behind the B's premiere during the 2013-14 season, the show has won two Emmys: Best Musical Composition and Arrangement in 2014 and Best Sports Series in 2016. Behind the B has received four other nominations since 2014 for Best Sports Series.
The Bruins organization granted Behind the B cameras unprecedented access into the locker room, executive boardroom and player's homes to provide fans a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of the 2013-14, 2014-15, 2015-16, and 2016-17 Boston Bruins seasons. All 55 episodes of Behind the B are available to stream on the Bruins website under the Behind the B channel.
