Beck scores first hat trick of season as Guelph handles Kitchener 7-4

GUELPH, Ont. - Taylor Beck scored his first hat trick of the season as the Guelph Storm defeated the Kitchener Rangers 7-4 on Saturday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

Mathew Sisca had a goal and two assists, while J.P Labardo, Tyler Carroll and Michael Latta also scored for Guelph (12-12-2). Peter Holland had four assists and Sam Lofquist added three.

Chris MacKinnon scored a hat trick for the Rangers (17-7-3). Matthew Tipoff had the other goal.

Cody St. Jacques made 25 saves for the Storm, while Kitchener netminder Brandon Maxwell stopped 30 shots.
