Beach scores winner on third-period power play as Everett downs Broncos 3-2

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - Kyle Beach scored the game-winner on a third-period power play as the Everett Silvertips handed the Swift Current Broncos their fourth straight loss, 3-2 on Friday night in the Western Hockey League.

Byron Froese scored a shorthanded goal in the opening period and Zack Dailey also scored for Everett (11-8-3-0), which closed out its six-game East Division road trip with a 3-1-2-0 record.

Justin Dowling scored both goals for Swift Current (14-9-0-0), despite the Broncos outshooting the Silvertips 28-19.

Silvertips rookie goaltender Kent Simpson stopped 26 shots, while Broncos netminder Travis Yonkman made 16 saves.
