Beach has three points as Spokane Chiefs down Seattle Thunderbirds 4-1

KENT, Wash. - Kyle Beach scored twice and added an assist to lead the Spokane Chiefs to a 4-1 victory over the Seattle Thunderbirds in the Western Hockey League play Saturday night.

Blake Gal and Tyler Johnson tallied for Spokane (42-21-5). James Reid stopped 19 shots.

Lindsay Nielsen answered for Seattle (17-38-12), while Calvin Pickard had 37 saves.

Gal opened the scoring for Spokane with a goal only 14 seconds into the opening period.
