Beach and Arnold combine for six points as Warriors tie series at one

MOOSE JAW, Sask. - Cody Beach and Eric Arnold each had two goals and an assist as the Moose Jaw Warriors defeated the visiting Regina Pats 8-1 on Saturday in Western Hockey League playoff action.

Sam Fioretti scored once and set up two more for the Warriors, Andrew Johnson had a goal and an assist while Kenton Miller and Cam Braes added a single goal apiece.

Dyson Stevenson scored the lone goal for the Pats.

Luke Siemens made 12 saves for the win while Matt Hewitt allowed four goals on 23 shots before getting pulled in the second period.

In his playoff debut, Adam Beukeboom stopped 12 of 16 shots in relief.

Moose Jaw went 2 for 6 on the power play as Regina failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.

With the series now tied at one game apiece, Game 3 will go on Tuesday in Regina.
