Baun leads Blackhawks past Canadiens @NHLdotcom

The Chicago Blackhawks scored three goals against Carey Price in a 5:07 span of the first period and defeated the Montreal Canadiens 5-1 at Bell Centre on Friday.

Ryan Garbutt, Garret Ross and Kyle Baun scored to give Chicago a 3-0 lead 13:48 into the first period.

Zack Kassian scored for Montreal 25 seconds into the second period before Baun scored in the second and Jan Hejda into an empty net in the third for Chicago.

Price made 26 saves playing the entire game. Chicago goalie Scott Darling made 22 saves.

Baun also had an assist, and Trevor Daley and Andrew Desjardins each had two assists for the Blackhawks.
