Battani's game winner propels Kitchener to 4-2 triumph over Sarnia @NHL

SARNIA, Ont. - Thomas Battani had the game winner with 2:48 left in regulation as the Kitchener Rangers posted a 4-2 win over the Sarnia Sting in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday night.

Justin Azevedo scored twice while Matt Halischuk added a single as the Rangers (3-0-0-0) rallied from a 2-1 deficit early in the third period. Mavric Parks made the lead stand with a 31-save performance in goal.

Jared Gomes and Harrison Reed countered for the Sting (1-4-0-0), while Tomi Karhunen stopped 43 shots in defeat.
