Battalion complete four-game sweep of Petes in OHL East quarter-finals

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - Thomas McCollum made 32 saves and the Brampton Battalion beat the Peterborough Petes 3-2 Thursday, completing a sweep of the Ontario Hockey League Eastern Conference quarter-final series.

Matt Duchene, Andrew Merrett and Brad Albert staked Brampton to a 3-0 lead.

Peterborough's Tony Romano scored two third-period goals to make it close, but the Petes couldn't find the game-tying goal.

Jason Missiaen made 30 saves for the Petes.
