Bast scores league-leading 13th as Warriors come back to defeat Ice 4-2

MOOSE JAW, Sask. - Jason Bast scored his league-leading 13th goal of the season and the Moose Jaw Warriors came back to down the Kootenay Ice 4-2 Sunday in Western Hockey League action.

The Warriors trailed 1-0 and 2-1 before a Travis Hamonic's power-play goal on a point shot tied the game. Bast gave the Warriors their first lead with nine seconds left in the second period.

That proved to be the game winner as Thomas Frazee scored an empty-net goal. Cody Smuk added a goal and an assist for the Warriors (7-4-0).

Cason Machacek and Steele Boomer scored for the Ice (4-6-0) who also got a pair of assists from Jesse Ismond.
