Bast nets game-winner to lift Warriors over Wheat Kings 6-3

MOOSE JAW, Sask. - Jason Bast scored the game-winning goal 4:57 into the third period as the Moose Jaw Warriors beat the Brandon Wheat Kings 6-3 Tuesday night in WHL action.

The Warriors erased a 2-0 deficit to snap a seven-game losing streak. Ian Duval scored twice for the Warriors (8-21-0-1), while Travis Hamonic, Martin Filo and Cody Smuk also scored.

Jay Fehr, Del Cowan and Aaron Lewadniuk scored for the Wheat Kings (17-12-1-1).

Jeff Bosch was named the game's first star after he made 32 saves for the Warriors. James Priestner stopped 19 shots for the Wheat Kings.
