Bartschi has three-point night to lead Winterhawks over Blazers 4-2

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - Forward Sven Bartschi scored a goal and set up two others Wednesday night to lead the Portland Winterhawks in 4-2 WHL victory over the Kamloops Blazers.

Bartschi was playing in his first game after a six-game absence due to a hip injury.

Charles Wells, Tyler Wotherspoon and Ty Rattie also scored for Portland (9-7-2).

Colin Smith and Logan McVeigh replied for the Blazers (11-4-0).

Portland goaltender Mac Carruth stopped 26 shots, while Cole Cheveldave of Kamloops turned aside 40.
