Barrie Colts use three unanswered goals to storm past Owen Sound Attack 3-1 @NHLdotcom

OWEN SOUND, Ont. - Barrie scored three unanswered goals as the Colts out-paced the Owen Sound Attack 3-1 in Ontario Hockey League action Wednesday.

Tanner Pearson and Ivan Telegin gave Barrie (35-21-4) a 2-0 lead. Reid McNeill added an empty-net goal with less than a minute left to play.

Mathias Niederberger made 25 saves for the win.

Daniel Catenacci was the lone scorer for Owen Sound (30-24-7), while Scott Stajcer stopped 28 shots.

Catenacci's goal came on one of the Attack's four power plays, while the Colts went 0-for-4 with the man advantage.

Barrie has won seven of its past 10 games and has clinched a playoff spot in the OHL's Eastern Conference. Owen Sound has also won seven of its past 10, but is still searching for a post-season berth.
