ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Barrie Colts got 46 saves from goaltender Alex Fotinos, but fell 2-1 to the Niagara IceDogs in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday night.

Fotinos made 16 stops in the first period and 23 in the third in just his eighth OHL game.

Freddie Hamilton scored the game-winner for Niagara (24-13-3) midway through the third period on a wrist shot from the left face-off circle.

Andrew Agozzino added a highlight-reel short-handed goal, his team-leading 22nd goal of the season, for the IceDogs.

Rookie Aaron Ekblad was the lone Colt to solve Mark Visentin, who made 26 saves for Niagara.

Ekblad scored his eighth goal of the season on the power play early in the first period before Visentin shut the door over the final 54 minutes of regulation to pick up his 13th win of the season.

Barrie (22-16-3) went 1-for-7 on the power play.

Niagara was 0-for-4.
