Bardaro has two goals and an assist, leads Chiefs to win over Silvertips

EVERETT, Wash. - Anthony Bardaro had two goals and an assist, leading the Spokane Chiefs to a 5-2 victory over the Everett Silvertips on Friday night in Western Hockey League action.

Collin Valcourt scored the back-breaking fourth goal for Spokane early in the third period, capitalizing after a bad communication breakdown between Everett winger Ryan Harrison and goaltender Kent Simpson.

Blake Gal and Liam Stewart also scored for Spokane (14-9-4). Mac Engel earned the win in goal with 23 saves.

Josh Birkholz and JT Barnett scored for Everett (5-20-5), which lost its eighth straight game. Simpson finished with 24 saves.
