Barclay Goodrow's four-point game gives Brampton a 5-2 win over Majors @NHLdotcom

BRAMPTON, Ont. - Barclay Goodrow had two goals and two assists as the Brampton Battalion skated to a 5-2 win over the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors on Sunday afternoon.

Dylan Blujus, Brandon Robinson and Mitchell Porowski also had goals for Brampton (33-20-10), which moved into a tie with Barrie for third place in the Eastern Conference.

"That's a big divisional win for us," said Goodrow.

Spenser Cobbold and Jamie Wise replied for the Majors (28-27-7).

Matej Machovsky stopped 24 shots for Brampton while Brandon Maxwell made 34 saves for Mississauga.

The Majors went 1-for-6 on the power play while Brampton capitalized on two of five opportunities with the man advantage.
