LETHBRIDGE, Alta. - Hurricanes forward Carter Bancks tallied with four seconds left in the first period and Juha Metsola stopped all 18 shots he faced as the Lethbridge Hurricanes blanked the Kamloops Blazers 2-0 in WHL action Friday.
Dwight King also scored a late-period goal with 1:23 to go in the second for a 2-0 that Lethbridge would hold through the third frame.
With the win the Hurricanes improve to 29-25-3-2, while the Blazers drop to 27-28-1-4.
Despite the loss Justin LeClerc was solid in net, stopping 31 of 33 shot for Kamloops.
