Baie-Comeau makes moves as Quebec league trade deadline approaches @NHLdotcom

BOUCHERVILLE, Que. - The Baie-Comeau Drakkar traded Marco Cousineau to the Drummondville Voltigeurs on Wednesday for fellow netminder Nathan Dunnett, a seventh-round pick this year and a third-round selection in 2010.

It was one of several moves by Baie-Comeau on the eve of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League trade deadline.

Earlier, the Drakkar sent defenceman Maxime Ouimet to the Rimouski Oceanic for goaltender Francois Lacerte, a fourth-round pick in 2009 and second-and third-round picks in 2010.

Baie-Comeau also acquired left-winger Jordan Bernier and defenceman Charles Vouligny from the Acadie Bathurst Titan for a fifth-round pick in 2009.

Elsewhere around the league,

-The Victoriaville Tigres acquired forward Tyler Noseworthy from the Moncton Wildcats for a sixth-round pick in 2010.

-The Montreal Juniors sent goaltender Michel Kowalew to the Val-d'Or Foreurs for a 10th-round selection in 2009.

-The Saint John Sea Dogs sent left-winger Keven Guerette-Charland to the Foreurs for a third-round pick in 2009.

-Drummondville sent a third-round pick in 2009 to the Gatineau Olympiques for a third-round pick in 2010.
