The 18-year-old Swiss sensation scored the game's first goal on the power play, then tipped in a point shot in the third period, while stationed at the side of the Oilers net, to put the Flames up by two.
The Flames also got goals from Dustin Sylvester
, who hails from nearby Kelowna, and Lance Bouma
, who played 16 games with the Flames last season and aims to crack the Calgary roster this season.
The Oilers got goals from 20-year-old center Tyler Pitlick
, Finish forward Anton Lander
– who led the team in scoring during the tournament – and Martin Maracin, a 6-foot-5 Slovakian defender.
