Azevedo's three-point performance leads Kitchener past Peterborough 3-1 @NHLdotcom

Justin Azevedo had a goal and two assists to lead the Kitchener Rangers past the Peterborough Petes 3-1 in OHL action Thursday.

Mikkel Boedker had a goal and assist for the first place Rangers (45-9-1-2), winners of six in a row. Spaling also scored.

Justin Soryal had the lone goal for the Petes (24-30-0-3), who have lost four straight.

Steve Mason picked up the win and Trevor Cann took the loss as Kitchener doubled the Petes in shots 42-21.
