Jean-Luc Foudy Windsor Spitfires

The Colorado Avalanche picked center Jean-Luc Foudy at No. 75 overall in the third round of the 2020 NHL Draft.

Foudy, 18, recorded 43 points (15 goals, 28 assists) in 59 contests with the Windsor Spitfires in 2019-20, his second campaign in the Ontario Hockey League. The Scarborough, Ontario, native had 49 points (eight goals, 41 assists) in 63 contests in his rookie season in 2018-19, leading all OHL rookies in assists and ranked fifth in points.
The 5-foot-11, 177-pound forward represented his country and registered two goals and two helpers in five contests to help Canada win a silver medal at the 2019 Hlinka Gretzky Cup.
Foudy was rated as the No. 33 North American skater on the NHL Central Scouting's final list.
The Avalanche acquired the selection from the Toronto Maple Leafs on July 1, 2019 along with Nazem Kadri and Calle Rosen. Toronto received Tyson Barrie, Alexander Kerfoot and Colorado's 2020 sixth-round pick (No. 180) in the transaction.
