NBC Sports Network will again have exclusive "Wednesday Night Hockey" coverage this season and it will feature the Avalanche five times, including outings at Pepsi Center against the Philadelphia Flyers on Dec. 11, Buffalo Sabres on Feb. 26 and Anaheim Ducks on March 4.
Colorado will also be the visiting team twice on "Wednesday Night Hockey" when the squad plays at the Pittsburgh Penguins on Oct. 16 and at the Chicago Blackhawks on Dec. 18.
Two of the five matchups between the Avalanche and Minnesota Wild this season will also air on NBCSN, including when the squads' faceoff at Pepsi Center on Dec. 27 and when they meet in St. Paul on Feb. 9.
The first time that the Avs host the Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues on Jan. 2, 2019, will also be aired on NBCSN with a new start time of 7:30 p.m. MT.
Colorado's matchup against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden is also set to be broadcast on NBCSN and puck drop is now scheduled for 5:30 p.m. MT.
The Avalanche's outing at the San Jose Sharks on Sunday, March 8, 2020, and contest against the Nashville Predators at Pepsi Center on Sunday, March 29, 2020, will also be nationally televised on NBCSN.
NBC Sports is set to air 109 games during the 2019-20 NHL regular season and 66 of these contests, more than 60 percent, will feature at least one Western Conference team.
All NHL games on the NBC networks will be streamed live on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app to authenticated users via TV Everywhere.
The Avalanche's full regular-season broadcast schedule on Altitude TV will be announced at a later date.
