Quotable

"You got to know who you're with. I know he likes to one-time pucks from the top of the circle on opportunities like that. I was just able to kind of get the D-man to flip his stick a little bit, maybe freeze the goalie a little bit with a fake and then slide it over. Mikko did a great job getting up, and what a shot by Mikko there." - Avalanche center Matt Duchene on Colorado's game-winning overtime goal against the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday night
