Sheldon Dries Dallas Stars preseason 2018 September 26

The Colorado Avalanche will make a slight change to its lineup for tonight's game against the New York Islanders after making a couple of roster moves.

The Avalanche reassigned forward A.J. Greer and defenseman Mark Alt to the Colorado Eagles of the American Hockey League and recalled forward Sheldon Dries.
Dries will play in his 16th game of the campaign with the Avalanche, centering a line with Colin Wilson and Gabriel Bourque. Dries has two goals and two assists with the Avs so far this season, as well as a tally and a helper in nine outings with the Eagles.
Head coach Jared Bednar did not say which of his two goaltenders will be guarding the pipes against New York, but Semyon Varlamov is expected to get the start as he was the first netminder off the ice from Colorado's morning skate.
Below is the Avalanche's projected lineup. All forward combinations and defensive pairings are subject to change.
