The Colorado Avalanche mascot, Bernie, shared a video recipe of Quiche Lorraine with Hash Brown Crust, a perfect dish for a Sunday brunch.
Bernie asked fans to have Sunday brunch with him remotely, from wherever they may be.
The steps are simple.
Heat over to 425 degrees. Combine three tablespoons of melted butter with 20 oz of hash browns in a greased pan. Bake about 20 minutes until light brown.
Next, combine 1 cup of heavy cream, 1/2 cup of milk, 3 eggs, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 1/8 teaspoon of pepper and a pinch of nutmeg.
Then, set your oven to 350 degrees, add shallot and cheese to the crust, pour the liquids over the cheese and bake 25-35 minutes.
