WINNIPEG -- Gabriel Landeskog will not be in the lineup when the Colorado Avalanche visit the Winnipeg Jets at MTS Centre on Saturday.

Landeskog starts a three-game suspension for a cross-checking incident against the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday.
Colorado did not have a morning skate, but coach Patrick Roy said Friday that Andreas Martinsen will replace Landeskog on a line with Shawn Matthias and Carl Soderberg.
"(Martinsen) played so well last game," Roy told the Avalanche website. "I was very happy with him."
Roy said there are no plans to call up an additional player from the American Hockey League and he is very comfortable dressing 11 forwards against Winnipeg.
Semyon Varlamov is expected to start in net.
Winnipeg defenseman Dustin Byfuglien will be in the lineup, according to coach Paul Maurice. His status was uncertain after he sustained an upper-body injury in the third period of a 3-2 loss against the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday.
Byfuglien leads Winnipeg with an average of 24:47 per game.
"It's a time of the year that there is a lot of hockey going on," Byfuglien said. "It's not easy on anybody, young or old. It wears and tears on you. You just keep your focus on the game. It's something we talk about, and it's something we teach as we go.
Ondrej Pavelec starts in net.
