San Antonio Rampage

The Rampage fell short on Saturday, losing 2-1 to Texas at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park. Girard scored the lone goal for the team while Bourque and Lindholm had the assists. In the second game of the weekend, Mike Sislo played in his 350th AHL contest while Girard increased his point streak to five games (one goal, five assists). Netminder Jeremy Smith played the full game for San Antonio and made 26 saves in the loss.
Saturday's contest was the start of the Rampage's annual Rodeo Road Trip. This year, the club will play nine games away from home in two weeks time.
Rocco Grimaldi was named CCM/AHL Player of the Week last Wednesday for his outstanding performances for the week ending Jan. 29. In the matter of three games, Grimaldi had five points (four goals, assist) including two game-winning goals. In his 2016-17 campaign, he has 36 points (19 goals, 17 assists) over the course of 46 games.

Colorado Eagles (ECHL)

The Colorado Eagles had a successful week after going 3-0 at home against the Alaska Aces.
Colorado skated past the Aces 5-2 on Wednesday, with Avalanche prospect Cody Corbett recording an assist in the match.
Corbett had a two-point game (goal, assist) on Friday night to help lead the Eagles to a 4-0 win over the Aces.
On Saturday, Colorado secured its third victory of the week and sixth consecutive win in a 2-1 shootout defeat of the Aces.
The Eagles (29-14-1-3) continue to be tied for first in the Mountain Division with the Allen Americans with 62 points. The Eagles now head to Wichita to play the Thunder for a three-game series starting on Wednesday.

OHL

Travis Barron (Ottawa 67's): The Ottawa 67's competed in one game last week. They fell 8-4 to the Erie Otters. Avalanche prospect Travis Barron has 26 points (nine goals, 17 assists) in 43 games this season.

QMJHL

JC Beaudin (Rouyn-Noranda Huskies): The Rouyn-Noranda Huskies went 2-1 last week after playing the Chicoutimi Sagueneens and Baie-Comeau Drakkar. On Thursday, the Huskies fell 6-2 to the Sagueneens. Center JC Beaudin had a two-point game (two assists) in the loss. On Friday, the team defeated Baie-Comeau 5-2, and Beaudin contributed an assist in the team's win. On Sunday, Rouyn-Noranda skated past Drakkar 4-1 for its second victory of the week. Beaudin now has 65 points (23 goals, 42 assists) in 48 contests.
Nicolas Meloche (Charlottetown Islanders): The Charlottetown Islanders had a successful week after going 4-0 in their games. Nicolas Meloche and Charlottetown started the week on Tuesday by beating Val-d'Or 7-1. On Thursday, Meloche had an assist as the team defeated the Moncton Wildcats 8-5. On Friday, Charlottetown crushed the Wildcats 13-2 in a game where Meloche added two helpers. Sunday was another easy win for the team as the Islanders beat Acadie-Bathurst 6-2. Meloche added another assist in the contest to extend his point streak to three games. His season totals come to 10 goals and 24 assists in 44 games.

WHL

Josh Anderson (Prince George Cougars): Josh Anderson and the Prince George Cougars went 0-2 this past week. The Cougars just couldn't get things as they lost 3-2 to the Kelowna Rockets on Friday and 5-1 to the Rockets on Saturday. Anderson has one goal and six assists in 52 contests this year.

NCAA

Will Butcher (University of Denver): No.2-ranked University of Denver did not play this past week. The Pioneers will take on the Colorado College Tigers on Friday at Magness Arena to begin a home-and-home series with their in-state rival. Will Butcher has five goals and 19 assists in 28 competitions.
Tyson Jost (University of North Dakota): No. 11 University of North Dakota took on St. Cloud State and fell 3-1 on Friday. The Fighting Hawks then played the Huskies again on Saturday and won 2-1 in overtime. Tyson Jost is currently out with an injury and did not play in either of the matches. Jost has 11 goals and 13 assists in 22 games this season.
Cam Morrison (University of Notre Dame): The University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish are now 15-9-4 after going 1-0-1 in their two games this week against No. 13 Vermont. The Fighting Irish tied 4-4 on Friday after a scoreless overtime but won 4-1 on Saturday. Avs prospect Cam Morrison had the game-tying goal in Friday's match. Morrison has seven goals and eight assists in 28 games.
Ben Storm (St. Cloud State University): St. Cloud State University competed in two games last week, splitting the series with the University of North Dakota. SCSU won 3-1 on Friday and fell 2-1 in overtime on Saturday night. Storm did not skate in the first game; he has two assists in 23 games this season.

Sweden

Gustav Olhaver (Rogle BK J20, Super Elit): Rogle BK went 1-1 in its games this past week. The club fell 4-3 to Farjestad BK on Saturday night, and Gustav Olhaver had a helper in the team's loss. On Sunday, the team defeated VIK Vasteras HK 5-4. Olhaver had two goals in Sunday's match, and he now has 10 goals and 18 assists this season for Rogle BK.
Adam Werner (Bjorkloven, Allsvenskan): Bjorkloven went 0-2 in its two games last week. The team skated against Tingsryds AIF on Wednesday but came up short, losing 2-1. Bjorkloven then played AIK on Friday and lost 2-0. Goaltender Adam Werner did not play in either game. Werner has a 9-11 record, 2.98 goals-against average and .893 save percentage after 20 games this season.
Wilhelm Westlund (Almtuna IS, Allsvenskan): Almtuna IS went 1-1 in its two games last week. Almtuna IS beat Vasterviks IK 5-1 on Wednesday and then fell 5-1 to Mora IK on Friday. Westlund has one goal and six assists this season.

Slovakia

Maximilian Pajpach (HK Poprad, Slovak Extraliga): Maximilian Pajpach was in action on Friday for Poprad as he played part of the game and made 19 saves on 23 shots in a 6-5 loss to HKM. He did not play on Sunday in Poprad's 2-1 shootout loss to Zilina. Pajpach has split this season between HK Poprad of Slovak Extraliga and MHC Martin B in Slovakia's second-tier pro league. He has a 4.22 goals-against average and .872 save percentage in nine games for Poprad and has recorded a 7.05 goals-against average and .828 save percentage in five contests with MHC Martin B.

KHL

Denis Parshin (Salavat Yulaev Ufa): Denis Parshin and Salavat Yulaev Ufa competed in two games this past week. Ufa started the week on Wednesday with a 3-1 loss to SKA Saint Petersburg and Parshin added a helper in the game. On Friday, Salavat then fell 5-1 to CSKA Moscow. Parshin has eight goals and 10 assists in 51 games.
Andrei Mironov (Dynamo Moscow): Dynamo Moscow played two game this week. Dynamo won 6-3 on Tuesday versus Medvescak and beat Sovan Bratislava 2-1 on Thursday. Avalanche prospect Andrei Mironov has one goal and three assists in 15 games this season.

High School

Nate Clurman (Culver Academy): Nate Clurman and Culver Academy competed in two games this week, falling in both. They played Shattuck-St. Mary's in a back-to back on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, Culver took the first lead but and then struggled to find success as Shattuck responded with fo ur unanswered goals to win 4-1. In Sunday's match, Culver lost 3-0 after Shattuck scored two empty-netters late as Culver pulled its goalie for an extra skater.

Central Interior Hockey League

Luke Walker (Terrace River Kings): Walker is currently playing for the Terrace River Kings in the Central Interior Hockey League in British Columbia. Colorado's fifth-round draft choice in 2010 spent the last three seasons in Europe.
