The defenseman was one of 10 blueliners invited to Canada's World Junior selection camp that will start on Dec. 12.
Cam Morrison (Notre Dame): Notre Dame defeated Wisconsin twice this week starting with a 3-2 victory on Friday. On Saturday, Cam Morrison recorded a pair of helpers in a 6-2 win to wrap up the weekend. Notre Dame in first in Big Ten hockey standings as the squad is undefeated in conference play and has a 16-3-1 overall record. Morrison has four goals and eight assists in 20 matches this campaign.
Denis Smirnov (Penn State): Denis Smirnov helped Penn State defeat Robert Morris twice this week. Smirnov found the back of the net in a 5-2 victory on Friday and the forward put up four points (two goals, two assists) in a 7-4 victory for his school on Saturday. Penn State is third in the Big Ten hockey standing with a 4-4-2 conference record and 11-7-2 overall record. Smirnov has 17 points (nine goals, eight assists) in 12 contests this season.
Shane Bowers (Boston University): Boston University split a pair of matches with UMass Lowell this weekend. Shane Bowers didn't record a point in the club's 3-2 loss on Saturday but registered a helper in the team's 9-3 victory on Saturday. In 19 outings, Bowers has eight goals and six helpers for 14 points.
